Topic: Can you advise the best tool for breaking my chain please as there are many on the market ?

Rider response: Hi there, we have been using the DRC Pro Chain Tool breaker for many years. Its suitable for many chain types and is very easy to use. There are also some really good tutorial videos online for it

Topic: I think i have an issue with my BMW S1000r so id like to run a diagnostic check, what do i need to do this ?

Rider response: You will need an OBD Link dongle and the relative BMW cable, both can be bought online. Then download the MotoScan app from the app store. Make sure of bluetooth hook up to your phone and that the ignition on the bike is turned on for power. From there just pick your model and navigate the app menu’s. You can also reset your service intervals using this method if required.

Topic:‍ ‍Looking for recommendations on tyre’s for sports bike. Good level of dry grip is preference, but want some longevity ?

Rider response: From experience it might be good to look at Rosso 3 or Metz M9 for excellent grip, if your after a bit more life with good grip go to Metz M7, S23 or Angel GT ‘s.

Topic: Do I check my coolant levels on the side stand of on the paddock stand ?

Rider response: Pop the bike on the centre stand or paddock stand when checking coolant level as it needs to be siting vertical at the time.

Topic: What is the best puncture repair kit to buy ?.

Rider response: Having tried several puncture repair kits, the easiest one to use on the day was a Tech 7 Tyre Puncture Repair Kit. Available from many suppliers, but ours came from Motomail NZ

Topic: I’ve bled my brembo brakes however still cant get the lever feeling right, feels far to soft and adjustments in the lever not helping ?

Rider Response: Make sure you have bled from the lever housing nipple also, this will remove any air up top and give you back brake feeling and allow for minor adjustments on the lever

Topic: Looking for some good ‘how to’ you tube videos so I can do some garage repairs on the bike, any recommendations ?

Rider Response: Over the years the video’s found to be helpful for garage repairs came from ‘Delboys Garage’ on you tube. The tutorials are clear and easy to follow, making it a good please to start
